About The Artist
Judith Averill is a self-taught Maine artist. Married to a supportive
husband with two beautiful girls, Judy graduated from Biddeford High School and attended Central Maine Tech. She started painting in watercolors and acrylics in 2000. In 2007 she started doing Encaustic painting as she can express herself in more ways working with this medium.
She also likes to use recycled materials and items from nature.
Judy is a member of Saco Bay Artists, and has appeared in art shows in
Saco, Ocean Park, Mill Creek South Portland and Fort Williams in
Cape Elizabeth.
Judy can be commissioned to make art for your home or business.
